This was my first time here n I was so amazed at how well this building was preserved, beautiful!! The gal who served us our coffee was very nice n courtious

A favorite hangout for young and old. Great ambiance in this repurposed train station. They have several rooms that can be rented for meetings at reasonable prices. I should also mention that their coffee and tea selection is excellent!

Awesome, awesome, and awesome. The feel of this place is glorious, I could have spent all day there! Built in an old bus or train station it's quite lovely, and the staff is super nice and helpful!

Such a beautiful cafe in Yakima county, they had so many nice options for coffee, but what really made this place special was the different kinds of tea they had - jars upon jars of tea leaves. We got a pumpkin spice latte and blueberry tea, both heavenly delicious. The server was very nice as well. The interiors of the cafe were huge with antique decor, chandeliers and plush sofas, the ceilings were so high, Its rare to see such architecture for a cafe. You can also rent a room for group study sessions for $10 an hour. There were many students there working and studying. I would definitely recommend.

Nice place to grab coffee and get some work done. The building itself was fascinating as it seemed to be an old train station.

Great place for quiet time, homework or just socialize

Northtown is one of the best places in Yakima to go get a coffee and chat with friends. Being in the historic section is also cool because you get to see remnants of Yakima's past. Overall Northtown offers great food, and coffee/tea the only improvement I can think of is additional seating.

Usually I love this place and my barista is always friendly but tonight they had someone I had never seen before chomping gum rolling her eyes as we order and take forever to the point we just cancelled our order because we felt like we were inconveniencing her. I hope this isn’t a sign of how it’ll be from now on :/

Love this place.... very family-oriented fun, every Sunday night open mic night and these kids playing instruments and singing have out-of-this-world talent. Very much a pleasurable thing to attend and very much a great coffee shop

Neat coffee shop with lots of room to study or visit.In door seating includes small and large tables as well as small groups of easy chairs and couches. Out door seating has shade and misters.Gelato and some small selection of food items are on the menu as well as the usual coffee, tea etc. They also have cold brew coffee on tap.The building is an amazing historic well preserved train station.

I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but this is a cool spot! Located in an old train station, this is one of the best places in town to meet and get a drink. Fortunately, they have lots of great non-coffee drinks! On this particular trip, I opted for the soda stream soda. They had a bunch of different flavors. Others in my group got coffee drinks and were all very happy. North Town Coffeehouse is a great place. There are a ton of tables and comfy chairs that you can sit at! Groups of all sizes can find a comfortable setting here!

Wow! This is a GEM! Such a hip coffee house in the old train station. The side rooms are available for special use. It’s always fun to be there, the music is great and the staff is pretty friendly, too. It is almost always filled with students, gamers, wedding parties and casual visitors. Sunday night is open mic and there are very few seats available, so get there early. There are talented performers, so you won’t be disappointed. I love this place.

Located in a very cool building. They have a kids room and also private rooms that can be booked. On the negative side their food options are very poor.

This place is amazing. Their drinks are wonderful, the staff always greets you with a smile on their face. Recently knowing what this place used to be makes it even more interesting. Open mics are also to look forward to! If I could give this place more stars, I would! Such a beautiful place to study and hang out with friends and family.

This is a very cool place. I will actually think of things to do on my laptop just so I can come here for an hour to enjoy their coffee and treats. It's just nice to do work in an environment like this.

It's a nice neatly lit place that's perfect for studying, getting a nice cup of coffee, or even just a quiet hang out place! I recommended a cup of gelato with a shot of espresso on top!

Great hangout. Old train station feel with lots of old world details. Not much (real) food selection. Ice cream!. Can get a little loud when busy. Common study place. Board game groups on certain nights. Might run into someone you know.

I don't drink coffee but this coffee shop is must visit. Used to be a train station back then ( I believe in 1889) and now a cool original design of old American interior. I had homemade pistachio gelato and coconut. It was sooooo good. PS. You can see the train pass the building of you spend enough time there PSS. They ask you to flush twice of the toilet but you have to check it out why ;)

Super cool location. This awesome coffee shop is located in the oldest building in the valley. The coffee is good, the staff's nice, and it's a great place to study. It's conveniently open until midnight, and is populated with lots of people studying or quietly gathered in groups. It's the perfect place to hangout and read.

Absolutely welcoming and very nice place to meet up. If you're heading out for a short breakfast or a meet up, I suggest here. :D

Kinda expensive for what you get. Great room for large groups. Employees are not going to win any awards for great customer service any time soon.

What a cool building! Huge, warm, welcoming converted train depot. Many delicious snacks and meals for vegetarians and GF. (Well, the yummy Perfect Bar, anyway) Big squashy chairs and set up for singles who need to work or small groups. I got a large shot in the dark with steamed soy. Awesome.

Went there with my sister while visiting her in yakima. Cute little coffee shop. They have a kids room... it is a little questionable. The bathrooms were not so great either, but the drinks are nice and it looks like a fun trendy place.

I enjoy going to North Town Coffeehouse to visit old friends, relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee. atmosphere is relaxed, enjoyable, friendly - in my view it's a great coffee shop.

North Town has a wonderful setting that makes it wonderful to meet up with friends, study, relax, etc... all while enjoying a great drink. The staff is great, and there are many tables and chairs to choose from in the spacious facility. A great variety of drinks decently priced. A definite must go to if you are exploring downtown Yakima! So nostalgic!

I love the environment and the people who work there, i know that everytime i go in there I’m gonna have a great time ordering and paying for my coffee and that’s another thing the coffee is great as well as the service.
